The North Dallas boys and girls teams competed in the Jesuit Classic on Saturday at Norbuck Park.

“With the nagging injuries that we are experiencing at this time of year, I am pleased with yesterday as well as the progress going into the home stretch.” said North Dallas coach Troy Power. “These young men and ladies are not quitting.  From their times based on other schools in our district, they are right there in the mix.

“The heart of a true champion is playing through adversity, no matter what that adversity is.  I am seeing this in these young men and ladies.  They are so far ahead of where they were last year at this time.”

The Bulldogs teams will compete in the Pinkston Invitational next Saturday at Fish Trap Lake, which is behind Pinkston High School. The District 11-5A meet is Oct. 19 at Norbuck Park.

” I am very excited as we head into this home stretch,” Power said. “With a little healing and digging deep, good things will happen come October 19.”
