Geovani Manning scored on a 3-yard run to tie the score and Juan Carpio kicked the extra point as North Dallas edged Conrad 21-20 in overtime at Franklin Field.

Manning finished with 299 yards rushing on 44 carries, including a 92-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

The victory snapped a five-game losing streak for the Bulldogs (4-5, 1-5 in 11-5A).

The score was tied 14-14 at the end of regulation. Conrad scored first in the overtime but missed its extra point.

In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs defense stopped Conrad twice inside their 20-yard line. The Bulldogs got the ball back at their 4-yard- line with 1:21 left. Manning then scored on a 96-yard run but the play was called back because of holding penalty.

The time eventually ran out and the game into overtime.

After trailing 6-0 at halftime, Rashawn Speed put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard as he returned a blocked punt 22 yards for a touchdown. Carpio’s extra point gave ND a 7-6 lead.

Manning’s 92-yard touchdown run pushed the lead to 14-6 with 7:55 left in the third quarter.
