Senior forward Kobe Bryant Wrice is one of the outstanding student-athletes at North Dallas High School.
He recently scored 36 points against Newman Smith, 45 points against Bryan Adams and 27 points in a 55-41 win Friday over Conrad. With three games remaining, Wrice is trying to lead the fifth-place Bulldogs into the playoffs.
“Kobe is the heart of our team,” said North Dallas coach Brett Cole. “Teammates feed off his energy on and off the court. Kobe has emerged over the last calendar year to be one of the best athletes in DISD.”
Wrice and the Bulldogs play TJ at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cobb Field House. Wrice took a few minutes to answer a few questions.
