Multiple Teams · North Dallas girls basketball team wins 5th in a row


Ashley Poole scored 23 points in leading the North Dallas Lady Bulldogs to their fifth consecutive victory Friday, a 55-33 win at Madison High School.

Poole hit 7 of 10 3-pointers for the Lady Bulldogs (6-3). She also had 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Jakolby Flemings, who was 3 of 16 from 2-point range, finished with nine points. SaNiya Lampkin had 7 points and 14 rebounds. Teia Leroy scored 6 points and had 12 rebounds.

North Dallas led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter and increased their lead to 28-18 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs led 43-26 after three quarters.

North Dalas plays at Kemp at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and then at Kimball at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. The District 12-5A opener is against Bryan Adams at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Cobb Field House.

On the boys side, Parish Episcopal pulled away in the third quarter en route to a 58-42 victory over the Bulldogs at Parish Episcopal. Christian Armstrong scored 8 points, while Paul Gandara and Larry Cooper each had 7 points.
