North Dallas High School has a new principal!
Katherine Wanserski Eska comes to North Dallas High from Arthur Kramer Elementary School, where she has been the principal for the last three years.
While at Kramer Elementary, Eska led her campus to obtain six state distinctions. She also worked as a high school teacher at Spruce High School from 2009 to 2012, and was head of the Math Department.
Eska replaces Blanca “Patty” Rodriguez, who left North Dallas in June.
In an email, Dallas ISD Executive Director Clarita Rivera wrote that Eska “has an absolute passion for supporting secondary students’ academic growth and social development. She is a devoted educator who has implemented a variety of programs to support student achievement. I believe she will make a positive impact to the already thriving North Dallas HS community!”
Before joining Kramer in 2014, Eska previously worked as Head of School at a turnaround elementary school in Boston.
Eska graduated with a BBA in finance from Notre Dame in 2009 and received a master’s degree in education from Harvard University in 2013, according to her LinkedIn page.
