More than 150 students and parents attended the North Dallas Collegiate P-Tech Academy Kick-off event Monday and had the opportunity to meet some of the pathway sponsors at the Collegiate Center.

“I am pretty pleased with the turnout!”  Workplace Learning Coordinator Christina Akhavanzadeh said in an email. “We have a great group of students who are wholeheartedly invested in and excited about their academic success through the P-TECH program.”

Industry partners from Baylor University Medical Center, MD Medical Group, Thomson Reuters, Southwest Airlines, Legend Networking, and Bottle Rocket, as well as our higher education partner, Brookhaven College, attended the festivities. The representatives were able to talk to the students and parents about their future pathways and provide information about what the programs have to offer.
