North Dallas softball Coach Chris Barnhill isn’t sure who won the alumni softball game on Saturday at the North Dallas softball field, but he says everybody had a good time.

“I think next year I have to keep the book,” Barnhill said. “The alumni said they won and the current team said they won. I know they really did not care about the score because they all had big smiles during the game.”

This is the second year for the softball game, which featured former alumni players and this year’s current players.

“I’ve been fortunate to coach some amazing young ladies and it is always great to see them,” Barnhill said. “Both groups had a great time. One of the coolest things about the game was Aileen Arias and Sophia Hernandez got to play against their older sisters, Ashley and Daniella, respectively.”

Many thanks to Ernest Cerda (Class of ’67), who took photos and ran the concession stand; the Class of ’67 for donating hot dogs, chips and Dr Pepper; and Class of ’74 alums for helping out.
