Bulldogs News · 1989 North Dallas graduate gives back to school with really cool football posters

If you happen to see any of the new football posters around North Dallas High, you can thank Hector Rodriguez for them. The posters are seen above and below.

Rodriguez (left), a 1989 North Dallas graduate, recently donated three graphic designs for the football team locker room.

“I find that I really enjoy the satisfaction of bringing an idea to life and releasing it out to world to see (good or bad),” Rodriguez said in an email.

Rodriguez, who attended Sam Houston/Stephen C. Foster elementaries and then Rusk Middle School, played football when he attended North Dallas.

“I think I would have to say that during my time at ND it allowed me to have a ‘you can do it mentality,’ taught me to be resourceful and most importantly, it has allowed me to build friendships that have lasted to this day,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez said he attended El Centro College and graduated from University of Texas of Dallas in Richardson. He said he’s been in the banking industry for the last 20 years.

Rodriguez said he learned about photography and graphic design on his “own” by trial and error, books and YouTube university.
