With three games remaining, the North Dallas Lady Bulldogs will set their sights on clinching a playoff spot.

But the Lady Bulldogs, now 4-3 in District 12-4A, face a difficult challenge: All three games are on the road.

“The rest are on the road, and I don’t like it,” North Dallas Coach Alana Cummings said.

The Lady Bulldogs play at 6 p.m. Friday at Pinkston, followed by a Tuesday game at Lincoln and the final regular-season game at Wilmer-Hutchins on Oct. 23. In their first meeting, North Dallas beat Pinkston and Wilmer-Hutchins but lost to Lincoln.

“We want to win all of them ,but I’m not sure,” Coach Cummings said. “I’m sure we’ll make it.”

Asked what she will say to the team to motivate them for the last three games, she said, “It’s the last three games!”

With six seniors on the team, the Lady Bulldogs are a mixture of old and young.
“We’re not quite where I  would like them to be,” she said, “but then I don’t think no team is really where they’d liked to be because of the lost time.  We’ve been coming on Saturday trying to buy time back.”
And possibly a playoff spot this season.
