Bulldogs News · North Dallas renovation project: With weight room gone, crew preparing ground for new athletic facility

In this Jan. 5 photo, Sedalco Construction Services is removing the last remains of the weight room.

The new athletic facility will be the width from the main building on the left to the right side of the boys gym. Diagrams below show a breezeway separating the main building and the new athletic facility.

Last week’s construction on North Dallas High School included the removal of the weight room. Sedalco assistant project superintendent Ryan Alexander said that removing the weight room will be the only building to be taken down in the North Dallas renovation project. Preparing the crawlspace is next, and then getting ready for the foundation of the new athletic facility.

On Jan. 12, workers work on the side of the building. There’s a hole next to the building for the construction of the undercrawl space for the new athletic facility.

The driveway that was in back of the old weight room has been removed.

The driveway behind the school is also being removed.
