North Dallas girls volleyball team fell 3-2 to Samuell in the season opener at Forester Field House. The Lady Bulldogs won the first two sets — 25-19 and 25-15 — but then dropped the next two — 26-24 and 25-15. Samuell won the deciding fifth set, 15-7. The Lady Bulldogs will play in the Denton

North Dallas High cross country team opens early workouts

The North Dallas cross country team went through a light practice on recent Friday morning. Coach Troy Power says he will have about 26 student-athletes participating this season. The first meet will be at the Greenville Relay on Aug. 22 at Norbuck Park.

Booster Club meeting set for Monday

The North Dallas High School football team opened fall practice Monday afternoon.   For Ernest Cerda, this summer hasn’t been much different than past summers. He’s been relaxing, helping his brother Art take care of his parents and riding his bike.
